Well,
If you Co-Write with someone that you can work with:
A. Do work up a Co-Writing Agreement for each song spelling out what each of you will do. Best if you can be in the same location rather than at a distance. If you work at a distance do know each other's address so you don't lose track of each other.
B. If possible set a time period over which you will Co-Write. It takes time to write acceptable songs so a year or two may be the shortest time for getting together writing.
C. Try to set the same time/day each month for getting together. Maybe also a time limit where you will work on songs. 1 to 3 hours at a setting.

Let finished songs "Set a While" before you decide they are really finished. You may want to change something. Good luck.
