That could work.

There IS a "remix" button. If you like the arrangement, not the 80's sound, try "remix" and tell it "contemporary sound" in the prompt, or something to steer it out of the 80s...

Use my steps to create possible extensions, and don't overcrowd any 32 sec sample with too many words or it might not sing your custom lyric verbatim. You may need to experiment a little to get Udio to give you what you want. Modify your prompt accordingly. I find it fun, figuring out the magic words to get the results I want. I think you might, too.

I suppose a paid version gives you longer demos?

No, FD, you need to RIGHT CLICK the track and choose "extend" --you can get up to 5 minute songs!!!

Read my "step-by-step" further up this page.

Also, note, "remix" might be what you want, before you "extend" --if you want to take it out of the 80s...RIGHT CLICK on the track and choose "remix" from the menu, then modify your prompt, steering toward something more contemporary...
