Before I did FAWM last year, many of my songs were quite a bit over 4 minutes long - I find I've been economizing - not just because one is under the gun to write quickly during the FAWM challenges, but that I've learned to make my lyrics less wordy - and the recordings in general are just right at a little over 3 minutes. They sound just right at this length - and I still manage a musical/instrumental break
