While I don't spend a lot of time on the mp3 or lyric boards, my opinion is that dividing the boards into different genres would be doing many of us a disservice.

As it stands, Writer 1 could post lyrics that the writer considers to be Adult Contemporary, but Writer 2 may come along and and think it would be a great Country song. They get together and work on it, and possibly a great song is created.

If the boards are segregated, then Writer 2, who may have no interest in Adult Contemporary, would likely never even look at the lyrics.
