5) Ad hominem attacks add nothing to a dialogue and only escalate animosity. My response was to an ad hominem attack on me. "escalate animosity"? You crack me up too, dude.  So you looked into my soul and just knew that I was saying yours was ad hominem and NOT Gavin's:? Since your response directly followed my last statement, it was obvious who you were addressing.
