I think he takes too much baggage into conversations which makes him say stupid things about people, their motivations and their situations.

He's described me in no uncertain terms on a number of occasions as he has you and others, terms sometimes wild, sometimes based on no foundation, sometimes when he should have known better.

His motivations seem unclear to me but sensitivity and insecurity are worthy of discussion, especially in light of his desire to win at conversationing and arguing and semanticising here and there

I actually told Dom I am an INTJ which would give him insight into winning me over but he totally loughed off that opportunity to go back into what you called a Mount Moron eruption. It had been an attempt on my part to say talk to me in reasonably articulated and logical ways and talk facts and reality and truth the best you can

Best of all say something interesting ....which is something he actually can do well to sometimes less well.

I think Dom is just younger and more idealistic and full of piss and vinegar than we are ....definitely an adult but I'm seeing 37...may or may not be marries, and I don't think he has kids

Those things mellow and mature you as does age.
