I am so grateful that you stand your ground and say what you feel. I respect your honesty and would far prefer someone speak the truth in love than just say "oh it's wonderful", etc. etc. if it really wasn't. In all truth we all must admit that there are "hits" out there where infact the melody and vocals "carry" the song in spite of weak or shabby lyrics, I think that's a fact of life and evident if you just listen to what's on the radio. I also think sometimes it is merely preference between individuals and what they like or look for in a song. While with this type of melody I prefer "vague" lyrics over specific, I am not against rolling up my sleeves and thinking about how the lyrics might be improved. Quite honestly I don't like shabby or quick fixes and if I can improve upon this I will strive towards that I promise. It is alittle "tough" also because the lines and phrases are very short and I only have so much to work with meterwise, but Mike and I will give it our best. Thanks again!!
