Not sure where the best place is to respond to the the Play Count question. Battle Views do not count as plays. Folks are already spending too much time trying to figure out what their rankings mean and why they are ranked where they are. That would only inspire more questing!

Brian, I think it wouldn't be a problem as long as people could opt to display or hide the song plays feature. OurStage already has controls for all kinds of enable/disable options, and this way artists can see (for example) how many times their songs were actually played during the voting process for any given month. Theoretically, it would be the same for all artists (songs) in the same channel by end of each month.
