MJ & Tom:
There are some really great things here. First, the acoustic guitar is killer. MJ, you can really play! This song could probably stand alone as an instrumental. Second, there are some terrific lines. My favorite is:
RIDE MY LOVE INTO THE SETTING SUN
But there are plenty of others. The song is full of word pictures.
The song does seem a little rushed overall to me and I wonder if it might sound even better at a slower tempo. Two spots seemed particulary crowded: the start of the bridge and the start of second repetition of the last chorus.
I enjoyed it.
