Have you ever been to Nashville, been around the songwriting community, or written with people inside the community, because that is one of the most nonsensical things I have ever heard. EVERYBODY comes here not knowing the craft. Nope. I havent aspired to. I dont even listen to country very often, although i have grown to appreciate it.

You can learn craft in any city, it doesnt have to be Nashville, it used to be the Haven for Country songwriters, but nothing coming out of there these days is on par with Willie Nelson.

And im sure Willie Nelso had some crazy ass talent and command of his craft before he ever got there.

But 40 years ago is not today, do you listen to the radio?
