In a world that�s so uncertain
As the sun burns through the darkness
May each new day�s light stay focused on what�s real
We take for granted those we love will be around
The tallest buildings fall and crumble crashing to the ground

While our lives become entangled
In a daily routine grind
It�s no wonder days on end just slip on by
Then another new years eve has come and gone
We forget the resolutions that we promised to ourselves

It�s so important to take a minute
Even if it feels you don�t have one left to give
Don�t ask questions, take a minute
To show the ones we love that it�s them we�re thinking of
They deserve more than a minute

We should really think about this before waking late one night
Our hearts are pounding, we�re much older
And our lives have passed on by
If we wasted all our time inside a selfish world of one
We may find that we�re alone feeling sorry for ourselves
