Mother Earth is overburdened
By our lust, anger, and greed.
We try to lord it over everything
Instead of taking just what we need.

I hope some day we’ll all realize
That with our source we must harmonize.
But until we wake up from our senseless sleep
Mother Earth will piteously weep.

My dear brothers and sisters,
Why needlessly suffer this strife?
By relinking ourselves with the Supreme
