Thanks for the advice.
With respect to feedback I have done some of what you suggest. I did join NSAI about a year ago, but am probably going to let that lapse. I just did not find it helpful, though if I lived in Nashville I might feel differently.
I think the advice about the reversion clause is good, and maybe I will step back from this process if they don't give me that. However, based upon what I have seen over the last year, I don't really have faith that the cream rises to the top in this industry. I don't think that writing a really good song (alone) is enough to get that song heard.
But thanks for the advice. I will think about it.
