You say you think you dodged a bullet. I'm not sure.


I may not know the music business well, but I do know business...and I know a bit about writing songs.


So I think, given Terri Lynn's comments about these folks, that in actuality you missed a great opportunity.


So what if they have one or two of your songs in perpetuity? The fact of the matter is, you can always write more, and with a publishing contract or two you have some street creds...


In financing or marketing, you always look for a "keystone" participant, one you can point to and say..."they are involved, bought my product, have money in my deal" ....because it gives you credibility and good reasons to be involved with you.


So this time around, no reversion may simply have been the price of admission...next time, you'd have more leverage.
