The average country music fan now is very glad that "Old whiny country stuff doesn't exist any more." And they are buying the records.
MAB THANK YOU, MARC!!!! I've been amember of JPF for over 8 years and have said this repetitively, in one form or another, the whole time. And almost every time I do, I get poo-pooed by the traditionalists. In a nutshell, as far as I am concerned, as the industry evolves, so must your writing if you want to be a factor. There are always exceptions...but that's what they are...exceptions. And, by definition, exceptions are few and far between. Thank you again! Alan
