Hey Mike,
My guess is the most negative song subject was when O.J. Simson
mrdered Nicole and Ron Goldman. One Publisher said he received loads of O.J. songs. None of them went anywhere. My wife and I were traveling when it happened and was in San Antonio Texas.
Who in his right mind would want to write a song about that. It was too gory. Maybe in a hundred years.
While uptempo, Bubbly songs have their place you can't live on that bubble all the time.
Who was it that put out that song, BABY THE RAIN MUST FALL. Glen Yarbourgh, I think.
