You are impliying that if I learn to play an instrument then my lyric writing will become better. Yes, absolutely, without question. That one is a no-brainer. And I suppose it might seem insulting, but that's not the purpose Roy. The purpose is to shake some bloomin' sense into you ! You don't have to Liberace, just a few basic chord structures, and simple understanding of melody, will improve your skills considerably. You can video edit, but you can't pick out a few notes, and read up on some music theory ? Get off your backside, and do the hard yards like everyone else. In fact, no, don't do that...... I'll just pay you to write my lyrics, then pay a bunch of session guys to write the melody, then call the songs my own, and then call myself a songwriter. Too easy..... cheers, niteshift PS - Kevin, you are a sh*t stirrer sir, and belong with the pond scum, at the bottom of the barrel. Oh wait, .... I forgot, you're a musician, so you're already there....
