Colin there is accuracy in what you say but the conclusion is illogical.....it is the very same capitalist idealogy in those cheap foreign countries and from our own companies operating there that forces foreign workers to accept poorer pay and conditions......so maybe we should all take a huge cut in pay and conditions and bring opurselves down to their level just to keep our own economy going?....it will never happen..... just like companies will never pay a fair price for a fair days work when they can get it done cheaper using foreign sweat shops....the world nowadays is a small place.....the only way is for workers in those deprived countries to fight through unions and industrial action to bring their standards up to ours...so we are all on a level playing field....that will probably never happen either because of the greed and power of capitalism and the unfair divide and conquer mentality.
Kevin at least those protestors are getting off their butt to try to do something about the injustice and unfairness of capitalism....when most folk apathetically just accept inequality and slavery.
