Aw Well,
To be sure there is no perfect system. Socalisim has been tried and has failed miserably where ever it has bees tried. Some of the last Bastions of Socalisim are North Korea, and Cuba. Cuba is now allowing some to actually own property. Only Cubans but a step towards free enterprise. North Korea needs the West to send food because of their failing system. The Soviet Union broke up some time ago and has moved towards free enterprise. But, that other Bastion of Socalisim, Greece, along with other countries, Italy, Portugal, and I think Ireland has been mentioned are also failing.

In the Soviet Union the State always wanted the workers to produce more. The Workers said, Why should we? If we produce more today the State will want us to produce more from now on. With nothing to look forward to but more misery why produce more. It has been reported that people stood in lines for hours to buy neccessities only to have nothing because there wasn't enough supplies.

Today in most if not all Western Societies if you go to the store for something there is about a 100 percent chance you will have it, in abundance, on the shelves. You could say, that is Capitalisim at work. Even tho Capitalisim isn't a form of Government. The Free Enterprise system has worked very well and in spite of those "Idiots" protesting on Wall Street none of them want to replace it with Socalisim. Sooner or later they will come to their senses.
