I think it's a mistake to focus on individual corporations or particular groups of organisations (like banks) - that response in itself simply re-inforces the belief that capitalism can be fair and simply needs better rules.

Bankers and plutocrats aren't necessarily bad people, and they don't 'rule the world' - but the action of capital can be very negative. Exploitation of resources and labour is, after all, a form of organised thievery, so somebody always loses. Blaming corporations is futile. It is the fact that exist which is the root cause of the problem.
