There's no answers for that. Sorry for your pain. But why are people born blind, or deaf, or retarded or ....rock musicians... hope that helps just a bit.
Why are there millions of people living and dead starving in Africa. Why were people ravaged by katrina and tsunamis and earthquakes. Everybody suffers. some more than others, or so it seems.
Apparently, it's not a results based belief. God and "Help me" are not words that go together. Whether we believe or not, we still have to wake up in the morning, we still have to dodge bad drivers and bad roads.
it;s not some fairy tale where if we read the bible and go to church we will be protected. And people are quick to hand out thanks to God when things are going great, but you rarely hear them blame god when something goes wrong.
Emu Philips once said "When I was young I asked God to give me a bicycle, but I reaized God doesnt work that way, so I stole one, and then asked for forgiveness.
In a way that explains things. It's a spir0tual existence, not a physical one. belief in God is not going to make it not hurt when you slip on ice and land on your hip. But it may help deal with the fear of falling again.
Least you are still here and contributing.
