That alot of studio time , one studio in Nashville charges 30k with a producer I personally knew of a male camp counselor, whose songs enamored a bunch of young girls over campfires. It was an exclusive camp and all the young girls parents were wealthy. They had a party to raise money (20 years ago) to send him to Nashville and get him recorded and discovered. They raised $40,000 He went to Nashville. Some producer bled the money out. End of story. -------------------------------------------- Years ago, I was recording songs at a studio with session guys in Houston. A very talented drummer said... "in these sessions, you are either a guy with talent or the guy with the money." It stung, but it was true.
