I'll be happy to pass along the info. but to be honest I am more concerned in keeping my own songs on there. he is inundated with people now, getting about 200 songs a week from the big boys along. And you have to remember, he is being paid to write for Sony and record for Warner Brothers, so his own material is going to be first on the list WAY before any of us get on there.
To be honest with you, I don't see anyone getting anything on this record they did not write with him. That is not his decision. That is corporate. And that is pretty much every artist out there.
When downloading took the industry, less revenue came in. So if it is a choice between a song that might sell pretty well that the artist did not write, and a song that might sell pretty well that he did write on, there is no choice.
Waylon Jennings was at a show one time and a guy came up to him asking to play him a song that was "Perfect for him." He let the young guy play away. After the guy finished, Waylon said "Hoss, you're right. That song does sound like me. But I could write the same song and keep all the money." That is the real deal. They are going to write their own because they can and because they have to.
In the eyes of the industry it is going to be the best songs. There is a producer, record label, publishers, and Frankie that will see to that. This guy has really good song sense. But there are going to be additional factors involved. The track record of people who wrote the songs and what they have delivered in the past. And most of all the personal tastes of what Frankie and his team decide. That is always the deciding factor.
