Ray Thanks for the potted history lesson...was it deliberate that you missed out on the important points?....... 1. Your country and its wealth was built on slavery 2. It still exists albeit in a watered down way 3. Equality only exists for those who can afford it. 4. The handouts you keep bleating on about are more political than aid and a drop in the ocean compared to the stored wealth your richest citizens own and do not reach the people who need them....oh and most important the people who Really need them do so because of the unfairness and greediness of capitalism.....these people who live in poverty unknown to you and me try to make ends meet and get of their butts to help themselves but are prevented by a corrupt capitalist society who pay unfair wages and make too much profit.
