That's not evasion Marty, I give up. I don't expect you or Dom to do anything. This is obviously going nowhere so, to each's own. If you truly feel "condemned" lol, say a prayer... that wasn't me I dont feel condemned Tony. ""Because, unless you allow yourself to be branded like a dumb cow just to be a member of the coming "New World Order", there will still be a chance that you can make it. Oh, and rest assured, there won't be any room left for doubt when it happens smile."" But I don't know exactly what to take from that. It's been 40 years since I engaged in conversations where I challenged Christian dogma. Last time was back in college., I felt like I had mellowed about the entire subject of religion. And I dont want to diminish anyone's heartfelt attempt to connect with the force that created them. But I will be honest with you...People who lead quiet and lovely lives, themselves observing the more loving teachings of their religions without advocating them to others or imposing the dire consequences of non-compliance....set an example that is much more persuasive than the hard evangelical sell with all of its many claims and warnings. The hard sell seems to employ the same psychological mechanisms that "promoters" of whatever product or service employ. Talk about the nice things first, but scare em and then reveal the road to safety is a standard sales technique. The hard sell just pushes many people away. And that might be evidenced in seemingly declining church membership. Ps...if it is not evasion, then square up to the question and answer it. I did not bring the claims forward. You did.

"First came if only? Then came what if? After that I'll bet. Next was just maybe. Followed by Aha, I thought so! And eventually, okay, what next!" -Brian Austin Whitney on the stages of creativity and Just Plain Folks.
