I don't believe most people truly understand just how sad these statements are.
We are about to celebrate the beginning of the year 2025 "AD". Roman historians were notoriously tedious... Tacitus was no exception.
That's not to mention the Jewish historian Josephus... 2025 "AD"... ""A"" ""D"" Still, no consideration here for the method and significance by which we number, record, date, and even celebrate the days and years of our lives...
