Dak,

I just don't understand why you and others think this model would produce LESS money or is a matter of getting paid LESS?

Brian, I'm thinking you mis-read or mis-understood my position. I'm of the opinion that the model, even as it is, is better than the existing structure for most of us.
I'm looking at the numbers over all & here's what it's about, in my situation. I have a cd reputedly getting airplay in Europe. I've not seen a dime yet, nor will I ever, in all likely hood, regardless of the number of plays. In the sense that, as a number, I have 10 plays a day now in a viable pay per play situation and get nothing but am in line for 100% of nothing and I get nothing. If the model works anywhere like it should, I'll have 10, 100, 1000 times as much play and have, presumably a 1% return. That's fine because in that sense I'll be generating more income than now by a considerable margin. I can't bitch about that at all.
In another related context, the music I had on mp3.m garnered a whopping quarter of a cent per play so just there I'll quadruple my income in relation.
I'm on the bandwagon. I just think it needs to be looked at real hard and, as Mr. Dunbar suggested, improvements that we can come up with be forwarded to the proper folks for consideration.
