Just wanted to comment on Harry's statement...Forgive me, but I am admittedly forum-stupid and don't know how to quote, so I am copying/pasting here, and may ultimately post twice in a row after I finish reading the forum..

Harry J said on the 9th..
"I'm not saying the current system is the best, but in the end, the cream is still gonna rise to the top. If Laskows model takes off, then the "filters" will have to do as radio stations do now. That, I believe, is where the problem will compound itself."

What exactly are the radio stations doing now, except accepting big money from big industry to keep indie industry out? There is one hell of a lot of cream out there in the indie market that can't rise to the top. Not saying I'm one - I still suck. But there's still a lot of cream that that's caught in the curds. Radio, on the large scale, isn't doing what you are percieving to be true. It's all part of the illusion.

Posting in good spirit,
