I really admire and love a lot of the previous songs mentioned,but my personal favourite,was the spoken intro by the Big "O"..of In Dreams.........
"A Candy Coloured Clown They Call The Sandman
Tiptoes To My Room, Every Night
Just To Sprinkle Stardust, And To Whisper
Go To Sleep,Everything, Is Allright."....
Then the pure magical vocal of Roy Orbison to bring to life, that wonderful refrain...Those opening four lines instantly connected with me,and i have been a Roy Orbison fan since the first time i heard it,as a boy of 12 yrs of age...
What a classic piece of writing!...nothwithstanding Roy's unique chord changes in a lot of his compositions,and his constant use of the "extra bar" in a lot of his songs...Wonderful!!
