Here's another couple with some reasons.

Brother Loves Travellin Salvation Show. Looking at it from a craft point of view I notice some neat things Neil does.

Hot August night
And the leaves hanging down
And the grass on the ground smelling sweet
Move up the road
To the outside of town
And the sound of that good gospel beat

Look at this rhyme scheme. Love the way he placed them inside the lines together.

Not only that it's great pictures being painted. It takes you to anywhere outside in a pasture, a wheat field, your back yard while you're mowin the grass.

And it's a song that builds to a big crescindo (sp) in the chorus. Then in the middle of it all he jumps to first person (being Brother Love) out of nowhere.

Cool song.

and Kentucky Woman

Kentucky woman
If she get to know you
She goin' to own you
Kentucky woman

how simple is that. and he can even use bad grammer and get away with it (not a criticism by any stretch
