and Jesse Winchester's "Biloxi"...What amazes me with Biloxi, is the simple, repeated, use of "sea" "water" & "ocean" that actually makes it almost hard to remember which word to sing...That & then changing of the sky as the storm comes in with each verse. Only three verses, no chorus, no variation in the melody, and the next thing ya know, it's 4:42 minutes later the way Ted Hawkins does it on his last CD. http://www.last.fm/music/Ted+Hawkins/_/BiloxiMidnite Wow, that lyric seems so lame! I'm not impressed (with the lyric). But I kinda like his song, goes to show you what a cool arrangement can do.
