Rand, I certainly appreciated your commentary about the Carpenters and their wonderful music... via Bacharach and his co-writers. "Close to You" really defines the musical "Renaissance"
that blossomed during that period of American Music History.

Dave "Stardust" must be one of the most beatiful songs ever written. It was my mothers fav all time song. We played it at her funeral...brought many tears.

Although I love the H.C. original the Nat King Cole version must be one of the all time unforgetable classics.
