Jim I didn't get the wrong end of the stick... And if you doubt me just re-read what you wrote. You keep denying you are belittling others.... then in the next breath waffle on about how much more skill it takes, and how it is so much more important to write a melody... how unimportant lyrics and lyric writers are.... just down right hurtful and offensive stuff.
Not one of the lyric only writers doubts the skill and effort it takes to write a melody, nor the effort that goes into production. Not one of the lyric only writers, ever started a tirade at a melody writer, musician or performer over a possible tool to help them improve their craft.
Now I don't know you well enough to know what your problem is, but IMHO you have a problem... Writing stuff then denying you wrote it, stating you were taken out of context when you were shown to be contradicting yourself, citing your own opinion as technical fact... shows that you have a problem.... whether it is the Richard Cranium syndrome or something more serious who knows.... get over yourself or get help.
