is the MB character type test legit and valid?
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), often referred to as the "MB character type test," is not generally considered a legitimate and valid psychological assessment tool by the scientific community.
While the MBTI is extremely popular and widely used in business and for self-reflection, most academic psychologists and researchers classify it as a pseudoscientific instrument with significant psychometric deficiencies, particularly concerning its validity and reliability.
It's for fun and making participants feel special. A long time ago I dated an HR exec. She ran lengthy tests on me and we discussed the validity of tests. This one is just for fun (song title)
