I was calving in the spring time I was working up a sweat. My helper poised and ready, #53 was a sure bet. In hard, hard labor, a calf was due in time. The mother cow was working hard, her calves life was on the line.
Time has her own way to let us see the light. We do the best that we can do, we give it all our might. We struggle and we persevere it all comes out in time. Go for it kiddo, when your life is on the line.
Working on the fence line, the post was set and strong. Thinking of my life with her, where did it all go wrong? A sudden shuddered rattle, a snake two feet from mine. What do you do in a time like this, when your life is on the line?
