Ummmm... What child was ever born with a proper work ethic, self control, a sense of responsibility, and a propensity toward self discipline?
I'm seeing a lot of musing about the direction children are taking these days, but never any serious thoughts about the accountability parents should have taken decades ago... As time goes by, children become adults...that I have noticed.
