Actually, that's a great example.

Nobody really cares about who anyone is having sex with, and that's the way it should be.

However... If you ARE considering who everyone else is having sex with, especially when you go to the BALLOT BOX, then that obviously IS a problem. Sexuality simply shouldn't be a FEDERAL ISSUE.

Your freedom to live your life as you choose is not the problem, especially in America where your liberties are considered God given and Constitutionally guaranteed. Overreaching, divisive, totalitarian government claiming the authority to dictate morality IS the problem. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Consider this; When, historically, has any minority ever faired well under a totalitarian regime? Freedom and equality are always great campaign platforms... but once given lawful and absolute authority, a totalitarian ruler immediately goes into "threat mode". Then, suddenly, if you're not like everyone else... YOU'RE THE PROBLEM.

People need to realize that America is only 250yrs old. America and its Constitution were FOUNDED upon rebellion against authoritarian tyranny... tyranny in the name of God, no less. Effectively, America's Constitution set the ideal standard for abolishing slavery world wide, and recognizing all of humanity as equal.

If you don't appreciate Constitutional Conservatism NOW... I can guarantee, you will certainly miss it when it's GONE. Minority issues among the colonists were settled 250yrs ago... WHEN WE ALL BECAME AMERICANS. Shortly after, 600,000 died in our own Civil War to PROVE IT!
