What I never realized before internet forums and comment sections came along allowing people to paint a picture of their mind's inner workings... essentially in anonymity ....was that alternative facts lead to alternative worlds in people's head...that are intractable. Before forums and comment sections, I thought that most everyone could be reached with facts. Turns out...not so.

People share thoughts now that they would not have spoken publicly 30 years ago. Me included.

But the reality that we have no choice but to live with... is that these alternate worlds form a significant part of the actual reality. And so does our own capability to get things wrong.

Not lecturing to you. Appreciate you. Just sharing some thoughts with you.
