Tell that to the people who said they were sure they were talking to their grandchild. That scam was on the go for a while but the one on the phone was usually a police officer or lawyer. Yes they would have to have access to the voice to mimic it, but that is not impossible today with so much recordings done.


I kinda go with what Everett is saying here, John...IMO AI is scam heaven for these fellows, designed specifically with crime in mind...they are on the leading edge and probably have a 2 to 3 year head start on the good guys already
