What using ai has taught me
Lyrics matter, if you say I love you, don't expect a good song out if it . No matter how pretty it sounds, it's still i love you and boring ,
It's not better than a human songwriter, it's just faster and more efficient. It may find a melody for a part faster. Whereas the human may take longer or never find it. In the end it's not better overall.
You need an ear and a vision to piece something decent. A bad songwriter usually doesn't know they are bad. They'll take a song out of it that stinks
I think it's still a long way from replacing humans. You know it doesn't really create good riffs. Your not going to hear a riff like back in black, or satisfaction, or heartbreaker, or anything like that where the riff itself is the hit.
Generic riffs, it's got plenty of those.
This could be dangerous if you can edit , id be dangerous if I could tell it what to do, rather than try to suggest what it does
