Yes , it is very interesting. $150,000 doesn't sound like much. Monetary Damage. Is there any money in music except at the very top?

150k per work stolen could amount to billions .

The real question is if the users are not making money , how is it stealing.
It's similar to singing a song in the shower

A crime is a crime. Stealing is stealing whether they're smart enough to make any money or not.


Lawsuits are a about money. If you think this is anything but a money grab....

Since artists don't make money on recorded music any more,law suits are a nice way to supplement that income.

Law suits over songs heated up ironically once music became free, and no money made on it
