I agree 1,000% with the last several posts (including that blasphemous idea that some people might be better at some things than others).

The idea of "internalizing" I think is what I was trying to say, yes. As is David's golf image of learning the fundamentals, then trying the trick shots. That's how you reach the Muse.

Or perhaps more accurately, that is how you allow the Muse to flow through you unhampered by any technical distractions or shortcomings.

Of course, any given person's mileage may vary. :-)
