I'm waiting for more concrete definitons. TrumanCoyote and Joe some have valid points. Guildslinger you must be the one whose post I read about the "zen". Rod ... The Alaskan weather must be affecting you up there.. ![[Linked Image]](http://www.justplainfolks.org/ubb/smile.gif) I am serious about this question... I have been breaking down some major hit tunes and I have found that there are alot of lines that stand on their own. Example: You can stab it with the steely knives but you just can't kill the beast. Its not just a line it is a statement that stands on its own... Any more serious thoughts on what is a line that stands on it's own. How do you fill your song with these and have it make sense. DAvid

"Defeatist Pessimists and Rose Colored Glasses Optimists are lonely companions, victims even. Both ideologies imply predestined outcomes, and therefore breed inactivity in its victims. Inaction is the only sure way to lose at anything in life. All positive action guarantees at least a fighting chance." -Brian Austin Whitney
