I think that is just like any Teacher of anything...
You have to be able to relate to the teacher.
I't must be conveyed in a way that you understand it..
One teacher might say it one way and you just don't get it. THe next teacher says it a different way and BINGO.

I think your point about the Songwriter who had one hit in the last 15 years might be valid.
You won't see some of the most prolific Songwriters doing seminars..
They might write a book someday.
But I'm willing to bet they are working on the next song right NOW.
I'ts like a disease....
