Ok Mudgie...be that way!! Here ya go. I hadda finish it. You KNEW I would. Devil Cat by Mudgie an' the Cat woman. LOL Was pitch black the night he came My soul will never be the same With a coat that glistened like Hades' coal His yellow eyes cast an eerie glow With a light that burned like an amber stone Cast up from the Devil's own home C 'Twas a Devil Cat From the depths of hell What catastrophe Did he come to foretell He filled me with dread From my toes to my head And the night wind moaned As it rose and fell 'Round that Devil Cat He paused for a moment by the fireplace A malevolent stare on that feline face Shivers of fear coursed my spine Captivated by those empty eyes Flickers of firelight cast a sheen On the Devil Cat as he began to preen Repeat Chorus: That coarse tongue caused my heart to ache Like sandpaper rubbed across my face As the embers glowed and then burned out I prayed that cat would leave the house But he stared back and then he spoke "there's no time left for you to hope" Repeat Chorus "Time can never ease your pain Forever you will remain the same" I clutched my heart as the clock struck three As I pleaded, Devil Cat, please set me free But the cat just turned his evil eyes And stalked into the dying fire

They'll tell you success in the music biz is all about who you know...but the truth is...it's about who knows you. Gallup 'n Dawg Music

"Do not endeavor to be the smartest kid in a dumb class. Instead, you are better off being the dumbest kid in the smartest class, where you will be challenged and you will learn. If you aren't growing, you are dying." -Brian Austin Whitney
