Re the producer thing well I touched on this in a previous thread...again I got knocked for six....for daring to say that recording and producing a demo was extra work over and above the 50/50 of just writing a simple melody or lyric for a song and should be compensated in some way. I was just stating for those who may not know that lyrics can be written in a few minutes... a melody can be composed in a short time but recordiing and producing the song to a decent standard can take many many hours of hard work in a studio that needs lots of expensive equipment.
