I know Big Jim. Sometimes I waffle on. Lol My twin was an imaginary friend for an imaginary situation. A what if. Can I make a silk purse from a sows ear?...well no but I can make it as good as I can. Depends on the quality of the sows ear. send me some words with or without a rough melody and I will demo it for you....no charge.
Well Jim I have to say that is a real fine offer you have made. I have said In posts that for me one of the most important things (rightly or wrongly) is to match the voice to the song. I know that you can produce great finished demos in your studio and I also know that you have a voice that I love. So I will take you up on that. Thanks again. Give me a very little while to go through my lyrics and I will come back to you. No melody though. AND I KNOW that you will not dissapoint me. You will see how I work and how I keep you informed of progress and ask you about suggested changes or any tweaks needed along the way. All I ask is a 50/50 split if it ever makes any money. I would prefer an upbeat song but can handle ballads....just been doing a lot of ballads lately and I crave for something faster to get my teeth into.
Sure Jim the 50/50 is always fine with me. I always let the person doing the demo run with it.Suggestions and tweeks are always welcome. If you are ok with that I will probally send you two and let you pick which one you want to do, if either. You can always say sorry Roy. the lyrics are crap.. lol. Only jesting. How does that sound. ps. can't promise to send up-tempo. You decide if it can be done that way. Again Big Jim. On that score you are the expert. God Bless Roy and Helen

"If you are stuck in your musical composing, be unreasonable. Change your environment. If you are stuck in your lyrical efforts, instead of forcing the same old words out, force yourself to do unreasonable things." -Brian Austin Whitney
