WHAT, IF ANYTHING, IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 'PURE LYRICS' AND THE WORDS OF A SONG? To me Lyrics -- are sonically melodic meaning the words Sound Good to my ears that's why rhymes are important and cliches have become cliches love/glove world/girl -- etc..... whereas words to a story song for instance --- if just read are comprehensive - but often Require strong instrumental parts - bass/guitar/ drum and a melody to turn them into a song.
