The answer is simple to your question. I have no problem with artists that write lyrics only! NONE. I have a problem with lyricists that recommend changes to the words and lyrics of songs (already written) before ever asking about the structure of the melody.
It's as though some 'pure lyricists' on the Lyric Forums advise changes to peoples work regardless of discovering the musician/songwriters intention for the piece. That isn't being true to their trade, abilities or skills - that's just ignorance at best and arrogance at worst, yet I'm the one that Brian is slagging off as a being a bully! What a joke, but then the majority rules I guess!
