Of all the remaining contestants, Paul McDonald seems to have polarized the audience more than any other. People love him or hate him. At this point AI is protecting its interest in the tour. Ashthon was expendable so the save wasn't used. AI wants that save available for the contestants they consider non-expendable. Right now the expendable artists appear to include: Karen, Haley, and Paul. Paul is out of his element when performing the montage type shows - but so is Scotty. Karen and Haley are basically karaoke singers who aren't as good as the other female contestants- except Naima. After the final 10, AI would use the save on Casey if he's lowest in an early round. Naima's good to make the final 10 because her story would be good for the brochure. I think once the final 10 is determined, it'll be fan choice for the most part.

"Do not endeavor to be the smartest kid in a dumb class. Instead, you are better off being the dumbest kid in the smartest class, where you will be challenged and you will learn. If you aren't growing, you are dying." -Brian Austin Whitney
